“This piece tells the story of quiet strength and gentle determination. It’s about rising—not through force, but connection, and belief that we are meant to grow beyond what we once thought possible.
The canopy represents protection, but also endless new possibilities. It’s shifting patterns of light and shade, reflecting the the journey we take - the rhythm of life in all of its clarity and uncertainty.

“No Distance In Dreaming”
“Each element in this artwork is a vibrant thread woven with intention, symbolising the powerful connection of family across distance and time.
At the heart of the painting are three central meeting circles, representing the families spanning 3 countries. Surrounding it are flowing pathways, connecting fostering deep connection where distance has no boundaries.
The earthy reds and ochres represent the Australian landscape, the cool blues and greens reflect the forests and lakes of Canada, while soft pinks and deep purples evoke the warmth and culture of France.
Bright, interwoven patterns dance through the composition, symbolizing shared stories, laughter, and the memories made during visits, video calls, and heartfelt letters.
