Official Online Auction Rules

1. Sponsor

This Online Auction is sponsored by VGF Creative, using the AirAuctioneer platform for bidding tracking purposes only.

2. Eligibility

This Online Auction is open to legal residents of Australia who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of VGF Creative are not eligible to participate.

3. Entry Period

The Online Auction begins on September 21st 2026, at 08:00 AM AEST and ends on October 4th, 2026, at 11:59 PM AEST (the "Entry Period"). Entries submitted before or after the Entry Period will not be eligible.

4. How to Enter

To Enter your bid for this auction, participants must:

1. Submit their proposed bid on the AirAuctioneer Website.

2. BIds submitted are final, and legally binding. If you are the winning bidder, payment is due in full on the 4th of October. Direct bank transfer or a payment link will be provided.

5. Art Description and Approximate Retail Value

The winning bidder will receive this custom designed Indigenous artwork by VGF Creative. Golden Magpie is a tribute to the Collingwood Football Club and Scott Pendlebury’s record breaking game record of 442 over 21 seasons. The approximate retail value of the prize is $AUD 3700 inc postage. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other item.

6. Winner Selection and Notification

The winning bidder wil be notified on the 4th October as soon as the Online Auction has closed. If the winner bidder does not respond within 24 hours, the next closest bidder will be notified that they have won the auction.

7. General Conditions

By participating in this Online Auction, entrants agree to abide by these official rules and the decisions of VGF Creative, which are final and binding in all matters related to this live Auction. VGF Creative reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not comply with these rules or that is deemed to be fraudulent or otherwise inappropriate.

8. Limitations of Liability

By participating in this Online Auction, entrants agree to release and hold harmless VGF Creative, AirAuctioner, Facebook, Instagram and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, and advertising and promotion agencies from any and all liability for any injuries, loss, or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with the Online Auction or the acceptance, use, or misuse of the artwork.

9. Platform Disclaimer

This promotion is in no way sponsored or endorsed, by AirAuctioneer, Facebook, Instagram and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, and advertising and promotion agencies. By participating, you acknowledge that you are providing your information to VGF Creative and not to AirAuctioneer
